Randy holds several world records for the fastest Electric motor cycle,fastest car up to 3000 CC. He will show us his current build of a 1900 HP car with 2 motorcycle engines running off turbos,alchohol,and nitrous. He hopes to break the world land speed record with it this upcoming August on the Bonneville salt flats. Randy's place is just around the corner from John Gerardy's place.

Meet with a full tank at 8:30 at North County Fair, across from the Black Angus. Cruise will start at 9:00 am and travel north on Bear Valley Pkwy and Valley Center Road to Rincon. Right on Rt 76 to Rt 79, continuing to right on Rt 371 in Aguana. We will detour across Wilson Valley Rd to Sage Rd and on up to a right on Rt 74 in Hemet. At Mountain Center, left on Rt 243 and on up to Idlewild and the Lumber Mill Bar & Grill for lunch. Every man for himself on the way home. Let’s meet at 8:30am, Saturday May 14th with a full tank of gas at Starbucks located at 3777 Avocado Blvd. in the Rancho San Diego Village (Starbucks is across the parking lot from Dixieline in the Village.) for a 9:00am departure time for a FUN RUN out to the Casino. Our Route to the Casino will be lead by Eric Ludwig: He will lead us out through some East County backroads to Pine Valley Park for a comfort stop. We will leave Pine Valley Park and cross back over Highway 8 through some more backroads to the Golden Acorn Casino for a meal.
Our Route home will also be lead by Eric Ludwig: Eric will take us up the Sunrise Highway to Lake Cuyamaca for a comfort stop. We will part ways at the park for the rest of the ride home.

Highland Valley Road east thru Ramona the back way Via Dye Road and catch Old Julian Hwy east to Hwy 78 East to Dudleys for a peestop. From there will head 79 South to Julian-thru Julian turn right and stay on Hwy 79 South to Sunrise HWY left to the bottom of the hill turn RIGHT at Hwy 80 with lunch at Majors Dinner. NOTE: Marc’s wife will be coming along so the timing of arrivals will be reduced by a cylinder or two if you know what I mean. But she will be in a frisky mood because we drop off her mom and sister at the airport the day before soooo she will need alot of fresh air if you know what I mean.

We’re going to meet at 9:00 am, Saturday Oct 30th with a full tank of gas at North County Fair in front of Black Angus Restaurant - 296 East Via Rancho Pkwy for a 9:30 am departure time. Our Route.....South 15 - exit West Bernardo Ave turn right....and then left at my favorite Rd.. Highland Valley Road to Ramona-then onto San Isabel for a pit stop/break. Then up to Julian-continue thru Julian right on 79, left at Sunrise Hwy down to Hwy 80 where we turn RIGHT to have lunch at Major's Diner in Pine Valley. After lunch we leave the restaurant turning RIGHT, then LEFT at Hwy 79 south until it turns into Japatul Valley Rd, which then turns into Japatul Lyons Valley Rd, then Lyons Valley Rd and eventually turns into Campo rd. John has a new Formula 1 simulator which he is letting us all try out. Then once we all have practiced a few laps we will have a competition for fastest lap time--winner gets his choice of any one car of Johns cars in his collection!! or whatever is in the clubs goodie bag that I bring. There is also a big screen tv in the next room where you can watch whoever is driving the simulator-can make comments next to their name on the bulletin board on how they drive. We will leave The Broken Yolk approx 9:30 and turn left at Bear Valley Pkwy to Lake Wohlford Rd, turn right to State Rt-6 (Valley center road), right to HWY 76-turn, left at S Grade South, up the mountain for a pitstop at Mothers Kitchen. From there down the mountain via E Grade Rd to HWY 76. Left at HWY 76 to HWY 79 south to HWY 78 turn right and stop at Dudley’s for a break or continue on. Hello all, We have decided to go ahead with having a Christmas Party for the club. It will again be at Les Werlings Race Shop at 2892 S. Santa Fe Avenue, San Marcos Ca. 92069 from 11:00am until 3:00pm. PLEASE R.S.V.P. AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we know how much food and drinks to have on hand. Use of a mask as needed and social distancing as well. Social distancing can be difficult particularly if we have a good turnout and because it’s Christmas and we want to shake hands or give hugs. Time for a fun cruise with lunch this coming Sunday. We're going to meet at North County Fair (full tank of gas) at 8am for a 8:30 departure. See attachments for directions, map, distances and particulars. In a nut shell we head north thru Fallbrook-follow Deluz Rd up north past Temecula — east on Clinton Keith Road for a gas up and pitstop at HWY 15 and Clinton Keith. Onto 79 south, and end up at Lake Henshaw for Lunch. Temperature at 8:30 should be around 75 degrees and is expected to peak out at 86 degrees at 1pm — not too bad. Mark Miller and Mark Coulter did a trial run this route last weekend so most of the dead end dirt roads and issues have been ironed out - there is that one factor though to consider and that’s following Mark — he promises' to get you somewhere!! So anybody with performance type cars Shelby’s, Cobras, GT350’s, older mustangs, and anybody with a performance type car is welcome. Jay Bittle is going to have us at his shop – “JBA Speed shop” on Saturday Aug 15th. He is offering to dyno are cars for half price $75 per car as long as we have at least 8-10 cars. NOTE: each car put on the Dyno will need to sign a waiver which means if your engine breaks while on the Dyno, it’s not his fault—this is standard procedure anywhere you have your car put on a Dyno—just want you to be aware. Naturally if he hears something wrong he will abort and take care as this does put the engine thru some stress. So this would be something in addition to our membership meeting—think of it as a SO CAL SAAC dyno shoot out . So I would like to get a raise of hands from you guys who will sign up for this and participate and who won’t. This is going to be a really fun run from north county to Santa Isabel, Mesa Grande, to Palomar Mountain. With a full tank of gas we will meet at North County fair parking lot next to Black angus 296 E Via Rancho Parkway at 8am for a 8:30 departure. We will head out the same way we always do – 78 east thru Ramona and stop in Santa Isabel for a quick break. We will go north on 79 and turn LEFT at Mesa Grande Rd to Hwy 76 West to Lake Henshaw resort on the left for lunch. After lunch head West again and take a right at East Grade Rd right up to Palomar mountain where it dead ends go left with immediate left on South Grade Rd which takes you back down the mountain back to HWY 76. EVENT CANCELLED - June 6th Curt Sorweid will be leading us all on his yearly wine cruise, driving thru the back roads in Bonsall and Fallbrook and ending in Temecula Wine country. The scenery is just breath taking with rolling hills and back roads with very little traffic, your spouse or friend will love this cruise. Its not an aggressive cruise like we have sometimes but geared more about scenery, cruising, and fun camaraderie with friends in the club. Under 10 free. Bring a car to race or just show up to watch and smell the rubber smoke and nitro—aww. Gates open at 8am, Membership meeting will run from 8:30 am till 10:00 am. Racing from 10am to 4pm. Parking is available. We will be gathered on the East end of the pits-look - for our banner. Cars to be run on the drag strip must pass a safety check: HELMETS (Snell 2010) or newer, wrist restraints for open air Cobras, 2 throttle return springs, no fluid leaks, fire extinguishers, etc. Seat belts not older than 2 years - that’s if open air cock pit “Cobra”. The club expects to have a large trailer to form a “home base” and will provide lunch for a donation at noon. BYO chair and ear plugs. EVENT CANCELLED. PLEASE TAKE TIME TO REMEMBER OUR FALLEN BROTHER. Our annual Idyllwild Lunch Cruise will be Saturday, March 14th 8:30 am, arrive with a full tank of gas at our usual meeting place at North County Fair Mall 272 East Via Rancho Pkwy / Escondido in the parking lot by Black Angus and JC Penny’s. Will depart 9:00 am with a comfort stop planned at Dudley’s Bakery in Santa Isabel. From there will be a beautiful ride to Idyllwild for lunch at the famous Lumber Mill Bar and Grill in the center of town (25985 Ca-243), Idyllwild Ca 92549). They will try to cordon off some parking in front of the restaurant for us and there is parking in the back as well. There is a Chevron gas station next to the restaurant to fill up your gas guzzling Cobra for the ride back. This run is open to any and all Shelby and High performance Ford vehicles as well as other performance vehicles that can keep up. Will announce the route back at lunch. Mark Coulter is going to lead us on a beautiful ride / cruise this Sunday the 23rd. Show up at North County Fair by Black Angus Restaurant with a full tank of petrol at 9:30 for a departure time of 10:00 am. Will head north on Bear Valley Pkwy to San Pasqual Rd RIGHT on hwy 78 East to Ramona. We will stay on hwy 78 and when we pass over Main St in Ramona where it turns into San Vicente Rd we turn RIGHT on Wildcat Canyon Rd to Barona Casino (1932 Wildcat Canyon Rd, Lakeside 92040) where we will have lunch. This cruise is a kinda impromptu run so anybody is welcome. All performance Fords are always welcome. This is a beautiful ride – hope to see you Sunday.
