Targa California
Several club members participate in the annual Targa California event sponsored by the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) and orchestrated by Dave Bouzaglou which typically involve up to about 100 cars. A typical tour may start in the Los Angeles area and tour north through the Padres National Forest and eventualy wind up near San Francisco, laps at Buttonwillow, Willowsprings and/or Laguna Seca Raceway. The annual cruise often includes spirited runs through the desert, many mountain twisties and sweepers, forests, coastal mountains, hwy 101 and spectcular views throughout. For our local SAAC members, this 1000+ mile trip usually takes 5 days, round trip
